Who we are:

Having successfully launched FINIO, a new data hub, connecting investment platforms with the many software systems used by financial advisers, Sprint are expanding to support their growing business.

The IT Operations / Infrastructure Support Analyst role:

Exciting opportunity in a varied role including a blend of essential hands-on technical skills and management responsibilities.

As IT Operations / Infrastructure Support Analyst, you will support the IT infrastructure in a growing, fully remote SAAS business. You will be a key “Go-to” for disaster recovery/business continuity planning, due diligence/vendor compliance reporting, information governance, IT and cyber security.

You will also be responsible for monitoring our hosting/cloud providers relationships and services (storage, back-up, networks, firewalls, patching, virtualization and operational security etc.), coordinating with the development teams on dev ops processes and the customer support team on operational issues.

What we are looking for:

Ideally, you will have experience of supporting private and public cloud infrastructure comprising our established traditional Microsoft technology stack (a handful of Windows Servers, running Microsoft SQL Server and IIS) in a managed dedicated hosting environment (currently Rackspace) and migrating the same to the public cloud (Azure etc.). Procuring and managing our small number of staff endpoints, using Microsoft Intune, and associated tools, also falls within this role.

This mostly internal facing role (we have a full-time support team for our customer-facing products) requires excellent written and verbal skills, as you will be nurturing vendor relationships and reporting to senior management.

We are a small company with large ambitions and a proven product pipeline. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your solid technical skills and broaden your management responsibilities as you grow your career with Sprint.

What’s on offer:

  • Work from home (with funded meet ups from time to time)
  • Flexible working hours (where practical)
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • 2 days corporate social responsibility leave.
  • Holiday purchase scheme (buy/sell up to 5 days)
  • Life Assurance (4 x salary)
  • Contribution to Private Health Cover
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Salary Sacrifice for additional qualifying benefits (e.g. extra pension contributions, EV purchase)
