{"id":245,"date":"2023-11-16T13:12:40","date_gmt":"2023-11-16T13:12:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sprintenterprise.co.uk\/resources\/blog\/?p=245"},"modified":"2025-04-08T15:42:39","modified_gmt":"2025-04-08T14:42:39","slug":"why-platform-integration-is-important-for-clients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sprintenterprise.co.uk\/resources\/blog\/why-platform-integration-is-important-for-clients\/","title":{"rendered":"Why investment platform integration is important"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our CEO,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAABJFUgYBw0NVRgMNEymGU8qve__EOM6QqNU\">Robin Bevan<\/a>, recently shared his views with FT Adviser on the advantages of an integrated data hub and the crucial role of platform integrations for advisory firms and their clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The different methods of integrating data<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Customer relationship management software is commonly used as a single source of data for clients and therefore needs accurate, detailed and up-to-date data on their investments, says Robin Bevan, chief executive of Sprint Enterprise Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This typically happens in one of three ways: manually updating a CRM, via a point-to-point integration or via a data hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cThe first way is labour intensive and prone to human error. The second, point-to-point integrations, is often slow and data may not be available in the CRM until some time after the date it refers to.
